6/2016  I have added three new sheep!  They are a hair breed….meaning no shearing needed.  Katahdin/St. Crois cross.  They are much smaller than the Suffolk and easier for me to manage.  We won’t get as much meat, of course but, the trade off is ok by me.  They are adorable and quite tame.

 

Suffolk lambs are born black and turn white as they grow….

    When you you think you will be selling lamb for eating? I hate even writing this, but my son has very bad allergies and he can eat lamb…

      Nancy, we expect lambs in March and butcher at 6 months or so…..so fall 2015.
